Now taking new clients!

Stephanie Liebl is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist. As an art therapist, Stephanie values being able to use creativity in her approach to working with clients. This can be in the literal art supplies being used, but also in the ways she aids clients in looking at their issues through different perspectives or experimenting with a variety of coping mechanisms.

Stephanie believes it’s important to allow individuals to work at their pace to achieve their goals- no matter how long it takes. She also believes it is important to provide the freedom to experiment and be weird and not feel as though one has to fit into a box. No two clients are the same, so no two clients need the exact same type of therapy.

In order to feel like a client can have this freedom to achieve their goals at their own pace and in their own way, Stephanie places a strong emphasis on building therapeutic rapport with her clients to establish a safe space.

Stephanie primarily specializes in working with identity concerns, life transitions, and low self-esteem. (She’s looking at you adolescents and young adults!) She also has experience with anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-harm, and trauma. She identifies as LGBTQ+ and has also has a history working with queer individuals, as well as members of the trans and non-binary communities.

Stephanie graduated from Adler University in 2019. From there she worked in a variety of settings including in-patient psychiatric hospitals, emergency rooms, and of course, private practices like this one!

A cozy and colorful home office or craft room with wooden floors, a closed wooden closet, and a variety of art supplies and decorations. The doorway has a sign with house rules, and there is a black chair with a cute cat face cushion.
A beige sofa with five decorative pillows, including one with a cat face, in a living room illuminated by warm and purple lighting. To the right, there is a small black table with toys and a tissue box, and a lamp provides additional light. In the background, a framed picture hangs on the wall, and a wooden door with a backpack hanging on it is partially visible.
